This one-of-a-kind machine offers a water cooled grinding experience without compromises. Suitable for flood cooling and equipped with a stainless-steel housing, this 100×2000 mm belt machine is a game-changer for those who want to take their grinding to the next level. The large belt surface provides a high surface quality especially when grinding chef knives or other large blades.
After two prototypes (see photos), the series machine is now on track and features numerous improvements. The covers are optimized for splash protection and accessibility, a standard cooling system is integrated and many other improvements were made.
The most important specs:
- Belt size 100 x 2000 mm (4 x 79 “)
- 2,2 / 3 kW Power (Motor / VFD)
- Power connection: 230 V / 50 Hz or 240 V / 60 Hz
- 2 – 20 m/s belt speed
- Cooling system consisting of 20 L tank, pump, dirt separator and wide jet nozzle
- The water flow can also be diverted to a hose to clean the machine after use.
- Splash protection shield with viewing window, optionally removable.
- Floor stand with height adjustment from 910 – 1210 mm (floor – workrest)
- Scope of delivery: machine, cooling system, flat carbide platen 100 x 200 mm, workrest 150 x 400 mm, universal blade jig
- Options upon request: extended platens, rotary platen, radius platens
